Valentine's Day Card Photos

Trying my hand at photography today.  My new hobby.  Trying to recreate Valentines Day cards from ideas on these websites.

First thing.  I need to buy a white or grey backdrop.  Next time.

Walmart photo has cut apart valentines day cards that you can order.  Perfect.  Saved me some $$ on printing at home.  Here are my creations without the suckers.  :D

Tshirt bags

Made these on Friday from some of my Mom's group tshirts.  http://www.marthastewart.com/266942/t-shirt-bag

The small tshirts work great for a kids bag.  I say an XL may be a little too big depending on what you want to use it for.  XL would make a good beach bag.  Medium and large tshirts would make great grocery bags.  The best thing is that you can wash these over and over and they don't fall apart.

I made 2 changes.  On the XL tshirt I made a 4 inch bottom by cutting out squares on each bottom side instead of a straight stitch across.  I also made a small stitch on the handles to make the handles not so wide.  I didn't want to cut more of the neck off or the opening would have been too large.

I think that's it.  Let me know if you questions about what I did.

First Blog post

Ok. Here we go.  My goal for this blog is to kept track of all the wonderful tutorials and ideas I find on the web that I test.  I'll share all my creations and let you know what my challenges were.  Hopefully I'll remember to take pictures turing the creation process.
